Allopathic vs. Holistic

From the time of Hippocrates (400 BC) there have been two obviously distinct medical approaches, each with clear ideology.

Today these are known as allopathic (orthodox) and holistic (naturopathic) medicines.

Presently allopathic (orthodox) medicine system is predominant.

Historic, social etc. circumstances etc. are nicely presented in an article Allopathic vs. Holistic by Chayne Ellis M.B.A (Acu) B.Sc (Comm).

But what are the distinctions between the allopathic and holistic medicine models?

Certainly, it is entirely up to anybody to choose a doctor (healer) as well as allopathic (orthodox) or holistic (naturopathic) medicine.

Regretfully, no sick is provided explanations and advices.

Hopefully, such an information could widen anybody’s viewpoint.

I have no idea how to find a holistic doctor who knows how to treat MS. Being diagnosed in April this year at the age of 62, my doctor thinks I’ve probably had this most of my adult life. But I have had NO big symptoms, just found it by accident with a brain and spinal MRI. He says I am “non-symptomatic” but will probably have some soon. Recently I have experienced more loss of balance than usual and confusion in my thinking. I used to be a pretty good letter composer, but now in rereading many of them I see the composition of a 5th grader! My mind wanders and it shows in what I write. I refused medication because after reading the side effects, I knew there must be a better way. However, I need some direction. If you can help me find a good holistic doctor specializing in MS I would be so grateful.
