MS drugs dangers

February 18th, 2010 | Posted in Holistic - Allopathic

Several years ago in article Orthodox MS symptoms treatment I described widely promoted by Big Pharma and so heavily used so-called multiple sclerosis (MS) medications and reported side effects.

Anybody interested can find heaps of explanations, why it is so. For example MS Treatment Market will Reach $11.9 Billion by 2011 or News from MS market ’07.

No doubt, MS drugs are a group of very profitable medications. Because of that almost nobody speaks about most serious problems, connected with their usage. Unfortunately, there are some serious underlying reasons, resulting in production of so terribly poisonous medications. Anybody interested can find more information in article Faulty medicine?.

More warnings

Just now I want you to see something essential. This piece of information is arguably the most important for anyone dealing with Multiple Sclerosis. It arrives to you from the most popular world’s natural health website  www.mercola.com:

The usual prescription for MS is a cartload of highly toxic medications.

It is my strong recommendation to not accept these drugs, and if you’re already on them, to wean yourself off, as they are some of the most toxic drugs used in the field of medicine. These drugs include:

  • Prednisone - a steroid hormone that can significantly impair

your immune system, and cause diseases like osteoporosis and cataracts…

  • Interferon. This drug is quite deceptive, because even though it’s a natural substance, it’s typically given in a dose that shuts down your body’s natural feedback loop. As a result, it tends to do more harm than good

Fortunately, there are many alternatives to these toxic treatment methods offered by conventional medicine

Who’s business is your MS?

What happened after you were diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis?

Most probably your neurologist briefly explained your situation, available treatment etc. But were you questioned in the following (or similar) manner:

  • Were you asked at least one question concerning your lifestyle, nutrition patterns, habits, living and work related conditions?
  • Has he/she asked you about other health conditions, such as allergies, or has he/she explained to you MS treatment options and usual treatment paths?
  • Was the true nature and side effects of so-called MS ‘medication’ explained to you?
  • Were you told the benefits of other Multiple Sclerosis management options – a) no treatment, b) nutritional, c) holistic etc treatment?

Think for yourself – what it really means if your answer to at least 1 above question is NO ?

By now a question: ‘WHY?’ should emerge. Definitely the best way to find answers to similar questions is to: ‘FOLLOW MONEY’

There are several explanations:

Food for thought: in 2002 the top 10 drug companies made a higher profit than the other 490 businesses together on the Fortune 500 list

More highly useful, real eye-opener, information – in amazon.com web site:

  • Death by Prescription: The Shocking Truth Behind an Overmedicated Nation - book review

So who’s business is your MS ?

I put it simply – my MS is my business – so my responsibility

News from MS market ’07

The dynamic MS market continues to grow unabated; seven major market revenues increased 14.7% from 2005 to $4.6 billion in 2006. Growth is driven by the highly successful beta-interferon brands, Teva’s Copaxone (glatiramer acetate), and the recent relaunch of Tysabri; the first launch of a new MS treatment for six years >>>

<<< Despite the comparatively large MS population, the UK only accounted for 1.1% of the 7MM (major market) total in 2006. Datamonitor believes the UK has potential to be a much more profitable and attractive MS market. If treatment rates were on par with Germany, the UK market could have been worth $293m in 2006almost six times higher than the actual value.

In order to successfully position a new drug class in the market, future market players must have a clear and focused marketing strategy. With Copaxonelaunched in 1997Teva has set the benchmark, and by utilizing similar tactics, future MS players can successfully position novel therapies in the market >>>

Honestly, I can not catch the point of this article.

No single word about MS sufferers, MS symptoms reducing or elimination, nothing…

They speak about market, profits and possibilities (strategies) to make even money money (smart strategies). MONEY!

No single word about their drugs – what they are supposed to treat, efficiency, reliability, side effects etc.

By the way – all so-called MS drugs are experimental. Again – pharmaceutical industry makes multi-billion USD business, performing experiments on humans. More information: MS Treatment Market will Reach $11.9 Billion by 2011.

Psychology behind the scenes is shortly described in article Advantages of MS ! ? !.

However, there are lots of folks who managed to stop and/or reverse their MS symptoms.

I reversed my MS symptoms in 1997. I am on a permanent MS remission since.

Most importantly – there are known some major MS causes and some highly effective natural side effects-free MS cures.

One more thing – Multiple Sclerosis has the same origins as all other autoimmune diseases.

Everybody MUST choose what is best to him or her.

All best -
